How to Make Chocolate and Banana Flan (Stepwise Photos)
Method
Preheat the oven to
200º C.
Heat cream and milk
in a non-stick pan and heat on low heat but do not boil.
Take chocolate in a
bowl and pour the hot milk-cream mixture on top of chocolate and whisk well, till the chocolate melts and gets mixed with the milk and cream.
Add melted butter,
whisk and keep the mixture aside for 2-3 minutes or till it cools.
Butter a baking dish,
arrange banana slices to cover the base and the sides of the dish.
Once the chocolate
mixture has cooled considerably, add eggs and whisk well.
Pour this mixture over
the banana layer in baking dish. Tap the dish gently to remove bubbles, if any.
Keep the dish in the
preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Spoon into serving
bowls and serve hot or cold.
