How to Make Chinese Honey Noodles (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Take refined flour and salt in a bowl, add ¼ cup water and knead into a firm and smooth dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 2 portions. Roll out each portion into a thin sheet, fold and cut into 1 cm thick strips.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan, slide in the strips, in batches, and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Pour honey on top while the noodles are still hot.
  5. Put some fried noodles in each serving bowl top with 1 ice cream scoop and serve immediately.
