How to Make Honey and Cherry Energy Bars (Stepwise Photos)
Method
Dry roast 1 cup oats
in a non-stick pan till the colour changes slightly.
Put 3 tbsps almonds,
dates, desiccated coconut and dried cherries in a blender jar and blend.
Put the roasted oats in
the blender along with lemon juice and 3 tbsps honey and blend on high speed. Add some more honey if it is dry and blend again.
Line a baking tray with
cling film, put the mixture on it and level the top.
Place the baking tray
in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or till the mixture sets.
Bring the tray out and
cut them into bars. Wrap the bars aluminium foil and serve.
