Ingredients

  • Semolina (sooji) 1 cup
  • Green capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Red capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Yellow capsicum, chopped ½ cup
  • Carrots, grated ½ cup
  • Cabbage, grated ½ cup
  • Whole wheat bread slices as required
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Oil to cook
  • Processed cheese, grated to garnish

How to Make Sooji Veggie Tostie (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Take semolina, green capsicum, red capsicum, yellow capsicum, carrots, cabbage, yogurt, salt, green chillies and coriander leaves in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly on the bread slices.
  3. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, keep the bread slices on it and cook, turning sides, till both sides are equally cooked and golden.
  4. Keep the bread slices on a serving platter, garnish with cheese and serve with a bowl of tomato ketchup and serve.
