  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Corn syrup 3 tbsps
  • Butter 1 cup + to grease
  • Sweetened condensed milk 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 tbsp

How to Make Peanut Brittle (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Heat sugar in a non-stick pan till it caramelizes. Add corn syrup and mix well.
  2. Grease the underside of an aluminum tray with butter.
  3. Add condensed milk to the caramelized sugar. Add butter and mix. Add peanuts and mix well.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Spread it on the greased side of the aluminum tray with a spatula and set aside to cool down to room temperature and solidify.
  6. Cut it with a knife, break it into pieces and store it in a jar.
