Enjoy this vegetable fried rice with any spicy Chinese gravy dish

Rice, cooked 2 cups
Oil 3 tbsps
Garlic, finely chopped 3 tsps
Ginger, finely chopped ½ tbsp

Heat 3 tbsps oil in a deep non-stick pan, add garlic, ginger, onion and green chillies and saute, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.
Add spring onions, carrot, French beans and cabbage and mix well.

Cabbage, finely shredded ½ cup
Sugar 1½ tsps
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Salt to taste

How to Make Chinese Fried Rice (Stepwise Photos)

Method

Heat 3 tbsps oil in a deep non-stick pan, add garlic, ginger, onion and green chillies and saute, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.
Add spring onions, carrot, French beans and cabbage and mix well.
Add sugar and soy sauce.
Add rice and mix gently to prevent the rice grains from breaking. Cook till the rice gets heated through.
Add salt, mix and serve hot.
