How to Make Beetroot Halwa (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Boil beetroot in equal quantity water in a deep non-stick pan till almost dry.
  2. Add milk, jaggery and cashewnuts and mix well.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring, till the mixture thickens into a halwa consistency.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot or at room temperature.
